The Nantes Museum of Natural History and the University of Nantes co-produced the travelling exhibition Zoonoses: From Animals to Humans, presented in October 2024.
It explores the role of diseases transmitted from animals to humans in the history of epidemics and their impact on human societies.
The two institutions commissioned Mazedia to design four interactive installations integrated into the exhibition.

These installations help visitors understand the mechanisms of transmission between animals and humans through accessible interfaces.

They trace major epidemics throughout history using dedicated multimedia content.

They highlight the factors that contribute to the spread of diseases.

Motion-design animations make these complex phenomena more readable and support their understanding by a broad audience.
