The National Forest Office and Cap Sciences have developed Dunes & Forests: Guardians of the Coastline, a travelling exhibition dedicated to the coastal forests of Nouvelle-Aquitaine. These environments, both rich and fragile, play an essential role in protecting the coastline and are central to major ecological challenges, particularly in the context of climate change.
The exhibition aims to raise public awareness of the ecological value of these ecosystems and their specific management, while offering accessible scientific mediation.
Mazedia was commissioned to design a series of interactive installations enabling an active and playful exploration of the different themes.

Each stage of the exhibition features an activity kit inviting visitors to observe, question and handle various elements, helping them to discover the specific features of these natural environments and the challenges they face.

Mazedia designed eight installations combining physical manipulations, RFID-triggered actions and multimedia content.

All components were integrated into furniture designed to be robust, lightweight and easily transportable, meeting the requirements of a travelling exhibition.
