The Toulouse Museum of Natural History explores the diversity of life through its reference collections and exhibitions. It has dedicated a temporary exhibition, Sex Appeal, to reproductive strategies in the animal and plant kingdoms, offering a scientific, playful, and offbeat perspective on these natural mechanisms.
Mazedia designed a series of interactive and audiovisual installations aimed at capturing the public’s attention and supporting the understanding of the exhibition’s themes.

The “Plant Myths” installation, combining living art with animations of famous artworks, and an interactive coloring activity enhanced with quizzes, allowed visitors to explore the anatomical and symbolic specificities of the plant world.

“Observation Under the Magnifying Glass” offered an interactive immersion into the reproduction of four types of plants through successive zooms.

On the animal side, installations such as “The Dance,” “The Song,” and “Sexual Organs” offered, respectively, motion-triggered videos, a rhythm game illustrating courtship vocalizations, and a drag-and-drop system to match reproductive organs with species.

A soundtrack titled “Forbidden Games” completed the experience by broadcasting suggestive soundscapes, suitable for all audiences.
