An iconic World Heritage monument, Notre-Dame de Paris reopened to the public in 2024 after several years of restoration. Each year, the cathedral welcomes millions of visitors from around the world, drawn to its remarkable architecture, rich history, and spiritual significance.

Ahead of this reopening, the association Revoir Notre-Dame de Paris, overseen by the Diocese of Paris, sought to modernize its visitor engagement through an intuitive and accessible mobile application. Developed with Wezit Mobile, the app guides each visitor through a personalized exploration of the monument. Mazedia oversaw the editorial supervision and content production.

Developed with Wezit Mobile, the app guides each visitor through a personalized exploration of the monument. Mazedia also oversaw the editorial supervision and content production.

Available in ten languages, the application includes an Easy-to-Read (FALC) version and an audio-described tour to ensure enhanced accessibility.

It offers three types of visits: a universal route for all audiences, a spiritual route designed for pilgrims, and a family route created for children and their parents.

The app provides multilingual content, smooth and inclusive navigation, and tailored tours suited to different visitor profiles, highlighting the cathedral’s history, architecture, and cultural significance.

A calendar feature allows users to view the day’s liturgical schedule, while a glossary offers clear definitions of key liturgical and architectural terms.
