The Musée Saint-Remi in Reims, located within the former Benedictine abbey of the same name, houses major collections dedicated to archaeology, regional history and religious heritage.
Among its most remarkable works are the tapestries depicting the life of Saint Remi, rich in historical scenes and Christian symbolism.
Les musées de Reims ont confié à Mazedia la conception d’une application de réalité augmentée destinée à faciliter l’interprétation de ces tapisseries et à en révéler les différentes étapes narratives.

The application enables visitors to explore the scenes through points of interest that trigger animations illustrating key moments of the story.

Living art sequences bring certain compositions to life, animating figures and iconographic elements directly overlaid onto the artwork.

The entire system is optimised to function in the low-light conditions of the gallery, ensuring reliable recognition and stable alignment of digital content.

Using tablets, visitors can easily decipher the iconographic and symbolic richness of the tapestries while benefiting from a clear and progressive form of mediation.
