The Louvre Museum, one of the world’s leading art institutions, presented in autumn 2024 a temporary exhibition devoted to the figure of the medieval fool.
As a character deeply rooted in both secular art and the social imagination, the fool offered a valuable perspective on how the notion of madness — originally grounded in religious thought — permeated artistic creation, literature and the cultural tensions of the Middle Ages.
Mazedia developed the visitor app, a Progressive Web App (PWA) accessible without download, using the Wezit Mobile solution.
It offers visitors an audio-guided tour in two languages, allowing for a deeper understanding of the artworks and the exhibition theme.

Accessible via QR code or URL, the application can be used directly on the visitor’s own device.

It offers around twenty audio commentaries drawn from interviews with the exhibition’s two curators. Each audio commentary, lasting up to three minutes, includes an introduction and additional content recorded by actors.
