The Louvre Museum, in Paris, houses in its Campana Gallery an exceptional collection of Greek ceramics whose iconography is key to understanding the narratives and figures of ancient mythology.

Room 659, located at the heart of this gallery, was redesigned as part of the renewed presentation of the Greek, Etruscan and Roman Antiquities Department (DAGER).

Mazedia designed an interactive mediation device introducing the complex genealogy of Greek mythological characters, directly connected to the works displayed in the room.

The dynamic touchscreen interface allows visitors to explore the relationships between gods, heroes and mythological figures based on the scenes depicted on the gallery’s ceramics.

The device offers a clear and educational staging of mythological narratives, supporting the understanding of a major component of ancient culture.

Mazedia created all character illustrations, designed to visually resonate with the original artworks.

These illustrations were animated using motion design to provide an engaging and accessible interpretive experience for all audiences.
