The Victor Hugo Museum, managed by the Département de la Seine-Maritime, is dedicated to the life and work of the writer and preserves an extensive heritage collection.
The institution highlights Victor Hugo’s literary and graphic creations, offering visitors an in-depth perspective on his artistic and intellectual process.
Mazedia designed a digital leaf-through interface devoted to exploring the collection Les Contemplations.

The device allows users to browse the original edition of the work through a smooth interface adapted to heritage consultation.

It incorporates unpublished content, manuscripts, drawings and photographs, inserted throughout the pages to enrich the reading experience.

This augmented reading experience is available on an interactive kiosk installed in the museum.

The leaf-through interface is also accessible online on the institution’s website, extending the exploration beyond the physical visit.
